Been forcing smiles and acting happy, putting on a good face for clients and kids and families and everybody else. Fact is, it's a terribly sad week. Dealing with loss and change and big decisions and how life goes on right through it all.
I am so grateful to be here, to have friends who listen without judging or trying to fix me, who let me lear from my own mistakes, which usually aren't mistakes at all, but lessons that I was put here to lear, and learn to laugh at along the way.
Here's something from the premiere episode of Live From Daryl's House - a total favorite of mine, fitting for my week, and oh how Daryl always makes me smile. But you already know that.
Santa Monica at it again.
#4 is from the other side on Catalina Island, 26 miles across the sea, looking east toward Santa Monica.
Watched Laura and this NYC mayor and his cohort who wants to take property ownership away from people, specifically white people...this is going to keep me up at night. Thank God for that councilwoman who is speaking out, but it is not going to be enough in my opinion. How far are they going to let this go on??? And this is just the beginning of his term. They are trying to get us into a civil war and destroy our way of life.
Between that and the riots in MN, I am on news overload again. Those rioters standing outside in the cold with gas masks on while I'm sitting in my chair with the electric blanket...they are just plain stupid. In my opinion, they all look like mentally ill lost souls. I know in my little world, things are fairly normal. I need to stick to Gutfeld! and that's it for awhile. Tonight I'm going to find some old 70s reruns to watch. Have a great night, Gutter Friends!
