Warning! Mini-observation on life
There are two basic personality types and how they view the world. Neurotics and (Borderline) Personality Disorder. We all lean one way or the other.

In a classic sense, neurotics believe the cause for problems in their life is themselves. Personality Disorder people believe it is the world and other people that are the cause of any problems in their lives.

How it manifests-Neurotic seek to improve themselves or seek help if there is a problem...if there is a problem they blame themselves. Character Disorder simply complain...after all the problem is the world, not themselves. The world and others have to change, not themselves.

Classic saying in therapist circles-Neurotics make the world miserable for themselves, Character Disorder people make the world miserable for everybody else.

It seems the world is actively seeking to create more people with Character Disorder.

The Left and Liberals...think all their problems are somebody elses fault. They aren't the problem...YOU are the problem(Spouse, boss, neighbor, stranger)as or the world is. It is Racism, Misogyny, Homophobia, Oppression, etc. THEY did it to me, and THEY need to pay.

Liberals make the world miserable for everybody else. And since they are running Schools and MSM, they are indoctrinating the world and our children with a mindest that will make them depressed and miserable, and they in turn will try and make everybody else miserable as well. Misery loves company. Used to be, if you were really miserable, you would just commit suicide, now too many go kill a bunch of other people first.

Conclusion-Conservatives lean to the Neurotic, we strive to fix ourselves. If there is a problem we try and fix it. Religion promotes self inspection and hence we blame ourselves(but we also try and fix ourselves).

Don't know how to fix this except get back to old time values. Teach kids to pick themselves up and get to work. The world is not fair and never was. Stop sitting and bitching and get to work. Make your own world better, don't blame others for your problems.

These are familiar words, but better words have yet to be written...

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
the courage to change the things I can,
and the wisdom to know the difference.

Sunday’s Supper

Tonight‘s menu is Mark‘s favorite teriyaki flank steak – proof that savory is just sugar in denial…..well, for Mark. Hmmm, will this recipe be in compliance with the new food pyramid?
And, by the way, this was a recipe that Greg loved so I always made it for him when I visited.
What’s for dinner at your place?

Teriyaki Steak
2 lb flank, sliced thinly against the grain
2 T oil
Pepper
1/2 c sugar
1/2 c light soy sauce( regular soy super salty but you can substitute)
2 T mirin
2 t cornstarch
2 t grated fresh ginger
1 minced garlic
1/8 t red pepper flakes
Sliced green onions

Pat steaks dry and season with pepper. Heat 1 tablespoon of high heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium high heat until smoking. Brown half the steak on both sides. Transfer steak to a bowl and repeat with remaining oil and steak. Remove and place in bowl.
Whisk soy sauce, sugar, Mirin, cornstarch, ginger, garlic, and red pepper flakes together. Add sauce to skillet and return to medium high heat. Simmer ...
