On discussing the food pyramid last night on Gutfeld, Tyrus said something I firmly believe in. He said one of the problems with people and food is that we have been told we need 3 meals a day.
Maybe working on the farm, getting up at dawn, doing hard work all day, people needed 3 meals. But with todays schedules and lifestyles we don't burn as much as we used to.
My point...I eat one meal a day...dinner and have a nice dessert. I drink coffee in the morning and drink Simply Lemonade with Blueberry during the day(diluted 1 to 1). I do not drink alcohol anymore.
If I eat my one meal earlier I am hungry for the rest of the day,(stomach shrinks overnight, if you eat breakfast it stretches out and the it feels empty the rest of the day so you feel hungry and eat all day) so eat around 6pm, dessert around 8. Bed around 10pm.
He is also right in "burn as many calories as you eat", although I agree your body adjust to what and how you eat.
Finally, I am a big believer in "Do whatever works for you "

A couple of hours ago, a Girl Scout in uniform came to the door with a cookie order form, and her parents were with her. My husband answered the door, and I took the order form and ordered a couple of boxes. The parents said we could pay cash now or go on line and order from her. Well, I hesitantly gave them the cash. When my sister was in Girl Scouts, you didn't have to pay until they delivered the cookies. My husband has been teasing me since, saying I should feel bad that I was cynical about a 10-year old out in the dark and cold in her uniform trying to sell cookies. Her form didn't have her name or address, but maybe that's a safety issue.
I hate that I am so suspicious, but on the other hand, rightfully so living here in the city.
He says for 12 bucks, I need to get over it LOL. The worst thing is we may not get the cookies and we don't need them anyway. He's right but I'm never going to hear the end of this one.🤣🤣
