BEYOND THE BALONEY FACTORY Ivor made a habit of scrolling through the Internet of various dimensions to see if there was anything weirder than normal in the content.

He noticed that people were being abducted by aliens and taken to another planet to be made into slaves. At least that was what one of the people that escaped slavery claimed.

Ivor contacted some Greys to see if they knew anything about the abductions. They became a bit annoyed because people were blaming Greys for every abduction and they knew of various races that made a habit of enslaving less advanced races.

Eventually he found out where the planet was and knew the situation had to be handled by the Triple Team. After contacting his partners they flew to the planet to check out the situation. Ivor and Ramshief had purchased the freedom of people in order to rescue a man who was now working for ACE so he hoped it would be just as simple to free the hostages.

The team teleported down to the planet to the main city and went to the information center to see if there was any mention of a slave market and who would be allowed to bid on slaves. What they discovered was that there was no slavery and the people being abducted were being taken to the planet to be employed. Sometimes people were rejected and sent back to their world. Ivor figured they were too embarrassed to admit they were failures and claiming to have been abducted and brought to the planet to be made into a slave was more exciting to claim.

Come to find out, the inhabitants of the planet also scrolled through the internet of various dimensions to see if anyone was looking for a job that some employer needed to have filled. Candidates were abducted and brought to the planet. Rejects were sent back.

The team split up and checked out the "abductees" to see how they were doing. Evidently they were happier than they had been in years and felt like being brought to the planet was the best thing that had happened in their lives. The main regret was that they were light-years away from their friends and relatives. But since they had biosynthetic replicates that could return to their homes, they could download their memories.

Ivor decided to post on the internet of the dimension in which the reports of abductions came from the facts about the abductions and the rejects. The rejects finally admitted the truth and the alien employment situation improved in that dimension and others. Other planets that needed workers started "abducting" people and bringing them to their planets.

Ivor checked the internets for more opportunities to help people.

Ricotta in Progress. New Year's Cannoli Underway.

Starting the New Year with Ina Garten's ricotta cheese recipe. I will let it sit in the cheese cloth overnight to make sure I get a nice, thick creamy ricotta cheese for my New Year cannolis.
What are you making for New Years?

With everything going on, I hadn't gotten anything for Christmas to Zack's grave and was feeling like such a bad mom that his grave was bare leading up to Christmas. When we finally got our little decorated rosemary plant out there on the 27th, I was truly overjoyed to see he'd been remembered by Wreaths Across America. I'd somehow forgotten that he was made both an Honorary Marine and an Honorary Navy SEAL, because those were his dreams of serving before the cancer changed the plans. We got up there and there had been a wreath laid on his grave since December 13th. Ken and I have often thought if we hadn't lost him to cancer, at home on hospice surrounded by loved ones he could have been killed the same day in Afghanistan, far away from home.
Praying for everyone else who's missing someone in this Christmas season.

If you've never contributed to this wonderful cause, here's the information. I always sponsor a wreath in honor of all the living vets in our family and give them as part of ...
