Here is another reading gem for you all this morning. I hope everyone is gearing up for a lovely Christmas Day.

Holiday Warmup

During the news conference after police found the body of the man who murdered an MIT professor, who the authorities claim also was the Brown University shooter, the president of Brown University was asked about Brown‘s security deficiency. Her response was that Brown has “adequate security.”
I can’t believe they still call these communes “institutions of higher education.” If two students get murdered in the middle of the day, you do not have adequate security. One would expect the person leading that institution to be able to figure out such a simple fact.
I especially like the fact that the primary witness to the Brown shooting is a man described by authorities as “a homeless Brown graduate.” For $90,000 a year Brown University can guarantee that you can be homeless after graduation. Of course, he could have spent the $360,000 on a home, but that would not have funded the communists.

As to the shooter, he came into the United States on a student visa. When he dropped out of school, the visa should have been rescinded and he should have been sent home. Instead, he was allowed to stay in this country, even though he was not contributing to our society. The longer he stayed, the more disgruntled he got. Eventually, his jealousy over a successful peer and polluted belief that his failure was America’s fault allowed the devil to enter his heart. That is the last kind of person we want in our country.
Compare the physics department at the University of Central Florida. UCF leads the world in optics. In the entire department they have 37 physics professors, including assistant professors and adjunct professors. Only three of them were born in the United States. Of the 34 immigrants, they all respect and love the United States. Most of them are United States citizens and the others are on their way to becoming citizens. One of them showed up from East Germany several years ago with only one suitcase of clothes to his name. He has become the leading optics physicist in the world, helping UCF obtain dozens of patents on technology that is most demanding in the space, weaponry and communications industries.
You see, if we only allow people in this country who will work hard and contribute, they will love this country because we provide the best opportunity for those who are willing to work. The American dream is alive and well. The American dream does not, and never did, include supporting worthless individuals.

The investigation into the welfare fraud in Minnesota began during the first Trump administration. Because it was headed by the Treasury and not the Department of Justice, it proceeded during China Joe‘s administration under the radar. Nevertheless, by the end of 2024, the DOJ was involved, several cases had made it to trial, and the government achieved convictions on all of them. Several other people pled guilty.
Now, Minnesota’s mentally retarded governor is claiming that the fraud is no big deal and it is entirely President Trump’s fault. What that “low-IQ individual“ (to use the President’s term) fails to realize is that the more people they indict the higher up the food chain they go. Sooner or later there is going to be somebody to tie the governor to the corruption. The whistleblowers already claim that they sent hundreds of emails directly to the governor. If he didn’t know about the corruption, he is dumber than we think. And would be very difficult to accomplish.

The USA’s military operation inside of Syria was more comprehensive than reported. They killed an estimated 50% of the remaining ISIS terrorists in Syria. The hundred or so smart bombs hitting 70+ targets was primarily in the news. Most of the operation around Palmyra, however, was conducted by land artillary and Apache helicopters. When Apache attack a building, they attack it from two sides and shoot electric 30 mm canon that deliver a bullet every quarter inch at the rate of 1,000 rounds a minute. If you have never seen (and heard) those guns go off, you have no understanding of how much carnage they deliver in such a short amount of time. That is the weapon of choice when we want to kill a lot of people in a confined area. We estimate that more than 5,000 ISIS terrorists and sympathizers were killed in the operation.
For most of my life, all we heard out of Washington’s response to terrorists was “a proportional response.” I am quite happy that Donald Trump’s definition of that phrase means a 3,000-to-one kill ratio. The lefties have been changing the meaning of words for years. It is nice that our President is now changing the meaning to fit our goals.

[Through the holidays, I am not likely to write more than one or two articles. Santa is very busy. Don’t worry, I will make it up next year. The closer we get to the election, the more likely we will be providing daily reports.]

Christmas is just 2 days away. Which movie are you watching first?
For me, it’s Die Hard(yes, it counts).
The kids have arrived and Charlie mostly remembered them. Charlie now has extra people to scratch his tummy and play ball with them. The kids and my husband are playing golf today, and I'm cooking an 18 pound ham. (I don't play golf. I have a total lack of eye-hand coordination.) The kids are so much fun to be around. Always upbeat, finding laughter. They'll be here until Saturday morning. They have to go home to get ready for a golf tournament their son will be in. I'm happy that they make the trip every year from MD.
