My beautiful, sweet, 17-year-old Shawnee went to Heaven this evening.
I came home from grocery shopping and she was in the dining room, meowing and couldn't move her rear end.
Wonderful White Oak took us right in, even though it was closing time. My girl's temp was very low. She probably had a stroke while I was shopping.
It never gets easier, but I hugged her and whispered I loved her as she left this world.
