The image is of a bust of Frederic Bastiat in Mugron, France. It was placed April 23, 1878 and stood until during World War II when the Germans demolished statues to melt them down for the bronze. Fortunately, there was still a mould of the bust and it was used to remake the bust after the war. The new bust was remounted on the original plinth.
