First, a bit of health news... Tomorrow I'm in hospital to have another cancerous section of lung removed. About bloody time - I was beginning to think they'd forgotten me. Dunno when I'll post again after today, but whatever it is will be fentanyl-fuelled as they'll be upping my dose, so take no notice.
Her Indoors reminds me that it was today in 1975 that I proposed. Or, more properly, as I like to remind her, when she asked me to propose. So it was that over the summer of 1975 she went from Bird In The Pub to The Girlfriend to The Intended. A few months yet before she became Her Indoors.
How do Her Indoorses remember all these dates? Blokes are barely aware of their own birthdays.
