Most young adults were born after 9/11 and do not comprehend the depths of evil that exist, even on our own shores.
For those of us who do remember, we must stand strong as Americans to fight for the good in this world.
A lot of self-talk for me this morning.
‘There is light in the darkness.’
I wrote to my son& his wife this morning, to have a good day, as I do usually in the beginning of a text to them. Today I know they’re mourning for Charlie Kirk & there’s the heaviness of the memorial of 9-11.
Those words console me - I need to have a GOOD day, not one feeling wrapped in darkness. There are still good, even great people in this great country & in my life.
We all have survived tragic personal events. And yes ones of this world in which we live. 🇺🇸♥️🙏🏻
The bad guys don’t win. God bless America.
