Pulled in around 16:40 CDT, this park is off of I-39, it’s about 65% full…
Of people that live here, most are the ‘working poor’ and retirees.
We are in a ‘Liberal/Union’ area, I’m not saying that folks don’t live in Campgrounds in red states, just not to the extent here.
There is a ‘gun range’ attached, so there are some Trump supporters in residence. Although they told us not to be afraid if we heard gunfire.
We are in the largest site, of course, and keep getting ‘drive-bys’ and gawkers.
Folks came out to watch us roll in, which isn’t unusual.
We basically had to drive through the entire park to get to our spot.
Luckily, they trimmed the trees recently.
We usually get ‘stink eye’ from the Libs, so they aren’t hard to pick out.
