Butterfly Update - It's a boy!! (a black dot on each lower wing makes him a boy). Born yesterday around 4:00 p.m. At 3:00 my husband looked in the enclosure and it was still a chrysalis. He was a little lethargic at first, but I left him alone and now he's strengthening his wings. If the weather is good, we will release him tomorrow after work or Friday mid-day. This makes me so happy! First pic is yesterday, he's still holding onto the shell of the chrysalis; second was taken a little while ago. Blurry due to the netting on the enclosure. And no, @apalm, these are not last year's pictures! 🤣
