“A Cracker Barrel FYI”
Folks have noticed the change in the logo of the ‘Cracker Barrel Old Country Store’ logo.
I’ve yet to hear someone describe the old logo correctly.
The Barrel in the logo is a ‘Cracker Barrel’.
Crackers were sold ‘in bulk’, from the barrel in which they were shipped. It would be set out in the middle of the store, and crackers would be scooped out and weighed from it.
Folks would ‘gather around’ the barrel talk and socialize.
That’s why there was an old gentleman sitting next to a ‘Cracker Barrel’.
Packaged crackers first appeared in 1898 from the National Biscuit Company (Nabisco), with their Uneeda Biscuit.
Congratulations to @Mamalarox. Your question was chosen for tonight’s Ask Greg.
@Mamalarox What is your go to song or band to put you in a better mood?
@GregGutfeld My son is out of the hospital, where he can breathe while walking so he’s back home. Also the below couldn’t be more fitting because my son is stubborn! I could explain more but too much to type. He’s in his 50’s and doesn’t know how lucky he is that his mother is still alive! I want to thank everyone for their prayers as means so much to me. I definitely believe the prayers worked. 🤗💕💖
