When you're a young child, you might play "house" with other kids. But as a teenager, you play "dude ranch". It's pretty much like "house" but there's more horsing around.
Personally, I never raised a finger against one of my kids growing up. I found using the whole hand worked much better.

@Big_un What is the most difficult lesson you learned after moving out of your parent’s house?
We're at a concert with 38 Special, waiting for Kansas to take the stage in a bit. I was looking around at everyone, thinking how we're all about the same general age as all our Gutterpals. Then I remembered @markusabsent and his beautiful wife Josette. So, here, in the middle of the concert, I stopped for a prayer for her and all his friends and and family. And of gratitude for getting to have known him. He's already so missed. 🥺💔🙏🙏
