Congratulations to @CBMichael. Your question was chosen for Friday night's Ask Greg, but unfortunately was not aired. But, as a special treat, I am posting a response here.
Special shout out to all the fathers out there.
@CBMichael: What were some valuable "words of wisdom" from your father (or father figure) that you might care to share?
Patience is learned behavior that requires practice. Just like going to the gym. You need to keep actively applying patience like you’re doing pushups. Over time it starts to get easier to remain patient for longer than ten seconds
Congratulations to @SGKusmertz and @heavyO. Your questions were chosen for tonight’s Ask Greg!
@SGKusmertz Which book or movie character would you want to be in your real life?
@heavyO Other than 1-800-Kars-4-kids, name another song you pray you never have to hear again?
Let’s take a moment to honor the fathers and father figures who helped shape us into who we are today. My own memories of my father are few – he battled cancer early on and passed away at the age of 62. But, what I do remember is his hard work and the unwavering way he provided for our family. The middle photo is from the big wedding day. To the left, dad is posing with his first car, a 1942 Buick.
As we approach Father’s Day, we’d love to hear your stories too. Please feel free to share a photo, memory or a few words about the father figures who made a difference in your life.
A lucky randomly chosen participant will receive Gutter merch. Contest ends June 15, 6PM Pacific Time.
Happy Father’s Day to my daddy in Heaven and to all the dads out there ❤ my daddy and I used to get told all the time that I looked like him. People probably wondered why he laughed a little. It was because I’m adopted lol. Even his mother, my nana swore I looked like him and my cousins. I just figured that was God making sure I got with the right mom and dad. Not only did I get the best parents in the Universe, they picked me. You’re the best daddy and so was mother ❤
