Hi, everybody! I hope y'all don't mind, but I have a double dose of prayer requests. Today, my pastor Tommy's daughter Dianna had surgery to repair one of her rotator cuffs and to smoothe out a bone spur, and she'll get to come home tomorrow. And my pastor's wife Peggy is also in Winston-Salem, spending the night at a hotel with our friend Donna to get ready for her endoscopy and colonoscopy tomorrow morning. Also, Peggy has a lump on her neck that's going to require a biopsy soon, as well.
I do know Dianna will be okay, but I'm very worried about Peggy. She's been getting sick off-and-on since October between Covid, an ear infection that's messed up her hearing, and recent issues with her blood pressure that led to a mild stroke. Now, she's not able to eat much of anything - every time she tries to eat, she projectile vomits, and she's lost 30 lbs., at a rapid rate, for the past few weeks. We're all afraid that she might have cancer, although the CAT scans haven't shown anything. That's ...
