“Ensconsed in Superior Montana”
“Honey! We’re home!”
It was farther than 170 miles, more like 230 miles.
Kind of felt like coming home driving in. Only issue I had was when backing up, I tore up the new asphalt. My middle pivot wheel (3 axles) made a nice divot.
We’ve done a little setting in, we’ll do more tomorrow.
Now it’s time to chillax.
This Memorial Day Weekend, we offer our deepest thanks to the fallen who gave their lives for our freedom, and to their families for their immense sacrifice. We honor their memory by cherishing our liberty.
Over the years, the stories shared by this community on this weekend have been moving and profound. We encourage, those who wish, to share so that we may all remember, appreciate and never forgot.
Deepest Gratitude and Appreciation,
Team Gutter
This Memorial Day I shed many tears over the memories of my 3 K-9 companions who sacrificed their lives so that I may live. My first and my most loved in the pic is Duchess. She was killed protecting me from advancing Viet Cong sappers. My others , Butch and Colonel, are also loved and missed by me. I pray that I am able to walk patrol with them again. This time is the peace and serenity of Heaven above.
