I'm going to take the weekend off from The Gutter. It's too difficult watching everyone talk about their wonderful mothers and Mother's Day celebrations.
Raised in an abusive home, it's hard to completely suppress the feelings of grief over never being loved by my mother.
So if you grew up with a mother who actually loved you, be thankful every day.

The Queen takes the visiting Pope for a ride in a horse carriage through London.
Suddenly one of the horses farts very loudly.
“Oh my goodness, I am so terribly sorry!” apologizes the embarrassed Queen.
“Oh don't worry about it" the Pope replied "If you hadn't said anything, I'd have just thought it was one of the horses!"
