I am tired of people saying it's so hard to buy a home. I've posted this before, I bought a new trailer a few months before we got married, in a trailer court. Lived in it for 5 years. Bought a house that was 20' x 24', smaller than our trailer, gutted the whole house, it had gas lighting in the house when it was built, rewired, replumbed, new roof, & siding! ALL WHILE WE LIVED IN THIS HOUSE, we had 2 boys, 5 & 2 years old, and the wife got pregnant! Added an a 24' x 28' addition! Now this was with me working rotating shifts, 10 hour days at 6 days a week, many weeks 7 days! We had Thanksgiving Dinner with the studs showing as we were still remodeling! Start small, be humble, we never needed a 3500 -4000 sf house! To this day, our home is only 1200 sf!
