“Slim Fit?!?”
I’ve a single suit.
I own a Tux.
I live in an RV, I’m retired.
I only wear a suit to weddings, and maybe funerals.
After I bought the Tux (four kids, four weddings), my other 3 decided on informal weddings.
The suit I have, I bought to wear to The Prodigal’s wedding to his ‘starter wife’.
I wore the same suit with a different shirt and tie to The Bear’s weddings ( Covid Ceremony in 2020 with just parents, and the wedding in 2021 for everyone).
I’ve decided to change the look, I’ve purchased a vest, a white shirt with ‘French Cuffs’, and several Ascots of different colors.
My only problem so far is that every damn thing is ‘Slim Fit’…
What in the hell happened to men in this country? Do they all have ‘noodle arms’?
When I bought my shirt, instead of my normal 18 1/2” neck, 36/37” sleeves, I had to go with a 19” neck shirt.
When trying on my regular shirt size, I could barely get my hand through the sleeves.
Once I got the shirt on, I couldn’t movie my damn arms without ripping the seams.
Good thing I’ve laid off the weights for a couple of months.
