Mamdani has shown in his very first event exactly how his tenure will proceed. He announces to his subjects that there will be a huge block party celebrating him and everyone is invited to attend. People arrive to find a penned up parking lot, with no tables, seats, food, bathrooms or anything having been done to create the party that they were invited to. They were expected to create the party themselves.
Prepare for more of the same - he announces what he wants but does nothing to make it happen. If you want what he is "giving" you, then you will have to make it happen yourselves. Lotsa luck with that.
Hold your horses...Mamdani said he wants to replace individualism with collectivism. Did anyone in the crowd listen and realize what that means? You, as an individual, are not worth anything. It's the whole crowd that deems attention. What you want, what you have belongs to everyone. The rich are the rich because at some point they created something that had worth. They worked to achieve and reaped the rewards. Under Mamdani those that sit on their ass and are brainless deserve those same rewards. In time he'll take away from the rich and everyone will be poor. Too bad people are so stupid. Guess they didn't listen and learn in school.
