This morning I heard a Jeep ad on the radio that had a tagline which said you can't spell 'American' without 'I can'. That got me thinking how the the right and left might interpret that in today's world. Whereas the right thinks of it more in terms of I CAN work hard and improve my lot in life, I CAN create something and I CAN make things better.... many on the left (especially those in power) seem to think of it more as I CAN lie, cheat, and steal, and I CAN get away with it. 😡
