Husband drove himself to ER about 5 pm. ..dizzy. They're checking enzyme blood work for heart attack, and transferring him to another hospital. I'm stuck at home because of my health issues. He's in God's hands, but would appreciate all prayers.

First, a huge thank you to everyone who participated! I loved reading your stories, seeing your family photos, sharing your move from California to …th Carolina(loved the license plate @Nondimmable), and even being treated to an amazing rendition of “You’re a Grand Old Flag” (looking at you, @marriedtodem! 😊).
It was wonderful getting to know so many of you a little better. Choosing a winner wasn’t easy, but here we go!
🥇 Grand Prize Winner: @B_ellen
Brenda, your story was an absolute tearjerker. Reading about your return home from North Africa because of the war and then flying over the Statue of Liberty… I can only imagine how emotional that moment must have been. Congratulations! You and a guest will receive two VIP tickets to the Gutfeld! show of your choice.
🥈 Runner-Up: @marriedtodem
Your heartfelt performance of “You’re a Grand Old Flag” brought a smile to everyone’s face. Thank you for sharing your talent with all of us!

NATIONAL BARBERSHOP MUSIC APPRECIATION DAY
Every year on July 13, we celebrate the vibrant, a cappella style of barbershop music and commemorate the founding of one of its most influential musical societies.
#BarbershopMusicAppreciationDay
Barbershop music has deep roots in African American culture, tracing back to traditional, improvisational music from the 1800s. Early folk songs and hymns sung in four parts eventually evolved into the distinct, blending four-part harmony we know today.
"There is no bad day that can't be overcome by listening to a barbershop quartet. This is just truth, plain and simple." ~ Aldous Huxley
While many associate the style with a four-person quartet, entire massive choirs also perform barbershop music. It is an inclusive genre that brings together people of all ages and backgrounds, featuring uplifting, spiritual, or lighthearted songs with clear lyrics and easily singable melodies.
