Husband drove himself to ER about 5 pm. ..dizzy. They're checking enzyme blood work for heart attack, and transferring him to another hospital. I'm stuck at home because of my health issues. He's in God's hands, but would appreciate all prayers.
Good morning! My Christmas presents were the health upswing of my fur kids.
Kat continues to improve daily. She's gained back at least 5-7 pounds already.
I'll weigh her next week after a poop recheck.
Chatham's eye has completely healed. As I continue to watch Chatham and Martha play, I think perhaps the original injury might have been an unintentional Martha claw.
It's kind of crazy, but all my cats love Martha, even my almost 15-year-old Shadow.
I'm blessed.
Merry Christmas to my awesome gutter-buds! I want to thank the people who sent me kindest regards and thoughts and prayers, had a really nice Christmas (and was able to use certain techniques to calm down when I was having panic attacks.) On December 6 I took a tour of the local memory care facility, then introduced the concept to my mother; it has been a whirlwind of activity, and finally on December 20 the family and I were able to move our beloved grandmother and mother into assisted living. Both my sister and I feel so very much better. A great weight has been lifted off our shoulders, knowing that our mother is safe and well cared for. It's been a beautiful holiday. Mother is a Christmas birthday so we open gifts in the morning and then celebrated with cake in the afternoon.
Today is the day to hand out those extra candy canes to make people smile.
