Giada Made Me Do It

Chris @GGsister2 gifted me the Giadzy sauce for my bday, so the meatballs basically made themselves. 😂 What’s something someone bought you that inspired a great meal—or a spectacular kitchen fail?

P.S. it's not my birthday. I just took a while to use my sister's birthday gift.

What person did you realize that you totally misjudged after meeting them?
What is something stupid you did as a teenager that still scares you when you think about it?

“Rule Followers”

Rule Followers!

I follow rules for the most part.
I’ve been known to cross against the light when there was no traffic.
Although I’m with a group that would wait 20 minutes for a ‘walk’ sign, regardless of traffic.

We pulled into the old Agency Parking lot.
I received the command “find a shady spot with a table!”
I complied, the closest spot to it was a handicap spot.
We have a placard, but it wasn’t easily accessible.

“We need to move or get our permit.”
“No, there’s at least 100 spots, 10
of which are handicap. We are fine. If a park ranger wants to write us a ticket, I’ll move.”

My lovely mother in law went to sit in the car while we walked the little tour path.
She couldn’t stand it, she had to dig out the placard and put it on the dash.

(M)Assachusetts governor Healey encourages abortion up to the time of delivery, 9 MONTHS. Signs a bill. Just like that. At a time when women can get an abortion early enough & easily enough without worrying about prosecution, as in the ‘old days’. The governor says women need to BE SAFE w abortion — up to delivery. Ahem— WHAT ABOUT THE BABY’S safety? I am appalled & actually feel sick. Coincidentally, I had just read an article from a 1989 (yes that long ago) newspaper, recounting a sickening story from employees of an abortion clinic. (Can’t say where.I threw away that piece of paper so I didn’t accidentally send it to my Christian anti abortion son.He doesn’t need that sick info) Body parts of aborted babies were sold out of that sick place -even from babies aborted up to full gestation. If a poor baby was still breathing or moving at the time of presentation to the buyer, it was….put down like an animal. How much more streamlined is this industry today? Are ...

Afternoon Gutter Gang. The day is done for me. Well at least the working part of the day. Now's time to catch Greg! from last night and chill with an early Happy Hour before digging into some Chinese take-out for dinner. I like it when it all comes together.
Well, I have a song dedication to the PM of Australia here on tap. Thanks to one of our friends from Down Under, PG (only her initials, not her rating) @PerthGurl , reminded us earlier today of the controversy surrounding Albanese of Australia for remarks he made seemingly comparing melons to the Japanese PM's breasts. Well, a fine song with great lyrics from Stephen Lynch will celebrate the thing, well, the things, that are on Albanese's mind. This is "Hallelujah"
