Philaberto served 3 tours in Vietnam.
One as an infantry platoon leader.
He was seriously wounded during Tet. Spent 2 years recovering, then learned to fly choppers, and served two more tours as a Huey pilot.
He was also the Chief of Staff for the National Guard Bureau.
He and Sandy have been married for almost 55 yrs.

It's been a day, I gotta say. Damn, a rhyme, I prefer alliteration in writing...Anyway, spent much of the day dealing with a neighbor's medical emergency and subsequent transport and follow to the ER and contacting her contacts and such. She was comfortable and being admitted as I left soon after her friends arrived. And I thought I was gonna get some outside stuff done today. I can almost see God sitting in Heaven saying, "What did Teg say? Hahaha, I have one for you" Quite a sense of humor He has. 😂
And so does today's birthday boy. Comedian, writer and film producer Bo Burnham is celebrating another trip 'round the Sun. In this song. he asks the eternal question that any of us wanna be funny guys might ask..."What's Funny"
