Philaberto served 3 tours in Vietnam.
One as an infantry platoon leader.
He was seriously wounded during Tet. Spent 2 years recovering, then learned to fly choppers, and served two more tours as a Huey pilot.
He was also the Chief of Staff for the National Guard Bureau.
He and Sandy have been married for almost 55 yrs.

I’m on my way to Arnhem this morning. I decided to take my rental bicycle along. I’ve changed trains twice and I’m waiting on the final leg to Arnhem. At my age having a WC on the train is a godsend 🤪
