Philaberto served 3 tours in Vietnam.
One as an infantry platoon leader.
He was seriously wounded during Tet. Spent 2 years recovering, then learned to fly choppers, and served two more tours as a Huey pilot.
He was also the Chief of Staff for the National Guard Bureau.
He and Sandy have been married for almost 55 yrs.

In the past month of visiting in The Netherlands, I’ve tried not to accumulate too much extra stuff, but I decided to buy another small suitcase. I hope I can maneuver the baggage as I make my way to France next week via train. I’ve been parking my rental bike at the train station. I was able to carry the new bag on the back of the bike.
