Philaberto served 3 tours in Vietnam.
One as an infantry platoon leader.
He was seriously wounded during Tet. Spent 2 years recovering, then learned to fly choppers, and served two more tours as a Huey pilot.
He was also the Chief of Staff for the National Guard Bureau.
He and Sandy have been married for almost 55 yrs.

34 degrees and snowing. ❄️❄️❄️ It's the first snow of the season. Not much and it won't stay because our temps have been too warm, but it's snow. Charlie got excited when I said snow, and was like a kid when we went out. I managed to scrape up enough snow to make a small snowball for him. When we came back in, he ran down the hallway several times. He obviously remembers snow from last winter. 😁😁😁
