Today is my 91st birthday. I arrived at 9:30 at night on a farm near Redfield, SD. The doctor didn't make it in time so my mom's sister assisted with my delivery. In the olden days the doctors made house calls. I've seen many things so far in my life. The dust bowl of the 1930s, WW II, going to school in a 1 room school with all 8 grades and 1 teacher, being the only girl with 5 brothers, the Korean war, etc. Last night we went dancing. I was 85 when I joined The Gutter and met all you great people. So happy to be here.
