A November poem:
Hoar-Frost
Amy Lowell
In the cloud-grey mornings
I heard the herons flying;
And when I came into my garden,
My silken outer-garment
Trailed over withered leaves.
A dried leaf crumbles at a touch,
But I have seen many Autumns
With herons blowing like smoke
Across the sky.

Congratulations to @NJFLA and @myafundsarlow your questions were chosen for tonight’s Ask Greg:
@NJFLA What’s the “best” mistake you’ve ever made?
@myafundsarlow If you were Jussie Smollet....What would you have done differently to make your hoax more convincing?
Thank you Andrew @ajwimsatt for providing the video.
Update #2: Try, try again. Don’t forget to see pic#2
Update: the homemade toffee topped with chocolate and pecans did not go as planned. I just wasted a very expensive pound of butter not to mention I wasted a couple hours in the kitchen. I think I'm just going go to Sees candy and buy a pound of toffee. @FlyYouFools you were the closest guess!
Making a little dessert for our Thanksgiving get together at the winery. Can you guess what I'm making? Never made it before. Pictures will follow later....:if it looks edible.
