Yup, my two young men grew up with an animal nut of a mom!
Nick called this afternoon. He was working and came across a trailer home, which had their pit bull outside, no food, no water and no shelter. Indiana, where it's very cold.
He asked me to call around and find the local animal control and gave me the GPS local ... address.
I called and explained the rather strange phone call coming from Virginia. She told me that area out where the address is has no animal control.
I told Nick and said not much anyone can do.
Nick stopped there when he left work, and politely asked the people to bring the dog in. He said he'll try to bring them some straw for the doghouse.
They brought the dog inside.
