We all know who the obvious heroes of 2020 are: the first responders, the people working on vaccines, the people who work the liquor stores when everything else is closed.
that's easy.
but what about the people who unintentionally make our lives better?
they didn't mean to do it - they just did - thru their mistakes.
for example:
-hilaria baldwin. she's a hero because she finally provided us with a story we all can laugh along with. Her pretending to be Spanish gave all of us a chance to poke fun of her, during the otherwise, worst news of the century. We needed her pretentious lies to make us smile.
she had a rough christmas, so we could have a fun one.
-the "karen" in the park. Remember that lady who called the police on the black guy because he told her to put her dog on the leash? So why is she a hero? Because her irrational misguided panic reminds us, that as humans, we all are capable of this.
Who hasn't snapped at people for no reason? or misidentified a culprit where there is none. The worst feeling you can experience, is when you falsely accuse someone of something. it's the worst. When someone else does it, remind yourself that you've done it too - and do it less. or not at all.
-Jeffrey Toobin. We don't need to rehash what he did. but what he did served as a red flag- or a reminder - that anything embarrassing can be accidentally recorded. in his case its humiliating.
but his humiliation now reminds millions of men - and women - to check your lap top after every zoom call. I check my computer when i'm filming anything now.
so you see what i mean by "unintentional heroes."

Hey Guys, I wanted to share something with you about one of our own, @LloydCash , who hasn't been around much lately. I just got off the phone with him and have his permission to share the following:
Tomorrow, Lloyd starts a 2 month stint in rehab for alcoholism. He's recognized that he has a life-threatening problem, and he is now dealing with it the best way he can.
He sounds good and knows it's going to be an adjustment. Cell phones get locked up and can only be used for emergencies with family. All outgoing calls are made on the facility's lines.
It's a great facility with horses and places to fish, and Lloyd is ready to make the 2+ hours trip in order to get his health back on track.

Currently in a big room for jury duty. I feel compelled to nominate myself as jury foreman immediately. Then later tell them I’m guilty of the crime they’ve accused the defendant of. I learned this from Clint Eastwood.
I just watched a long video about being an unbiased juror. I thought it sucked.

I think I’ll be dismissed the moment I tell them I know Jesse Watters.
Jury update: no paper towels in the bathroom. Hand cleanser empty at all spots. None of the clocks are set at the right time. My yelp review is going to be scathIng.
A friend just told me racism gets you excused from jury duty. I already checked off “white” on my nationality so I’ll let them do the work.
