What’s the worst impulse purchase you ever made?
Teacher: "There are 4 birds in a tree. 3 of them decide to fly away. How many birds remain in the tree?"
From the class: "1!!!"
One student then says: "All four remain."
Teacher: "And just how do you figure that?"
The lone student: "You said 3 birds DECIDED to leave. That doesn't mean they actually DID."
And that is the best response. To Decide to do something doesn't mean it actually gets done. 😏
