This is my Christmas dinner moments before it hit my mouth. Homemade mashed potatoes topped with Crock-Pot cubed steak with mushroom and onion gravy. I started it yesterday, put it in the fridge overnight, took it out this morning to skim off the fat, then put it back in the Crock-Pot and finished cooking.
The gravy paired up nicely with the mashed potatoes, and the cubed steak was fork-tender. And it was all delicious.
Hopefully, this will make up for posting Josh's Mama's Grinch Christmas Dinner fiasco last night. 😋
