every once in awhile i return to twitter to check the news, or comment on say, the debate. so when i asked a meaningful question to practicing catholics who are pro-choice, how they are able to comingle both in their lives, i was met with a response, "get a grip" by the lady who used to be in that tv show, 24. she's a comedian, and played Keifer's assistant - she always had the serious look on her face while she sat in front of a glowing computer.
this sarcastic response tells ya two things:
-its your fault if you expect anything meaningful from twitter (meaning, it's my fault). Some times you get lucky -- it's how Riley Gale and I became friends, and how was able to engage with people I really admire (like Chilly Gonzales). but for me to expect a serious answer to an honest question is my fault.
and it proves the Scott Adams dictum (is that the right word?)
that you can't expect rational information from artists - a catch-all description for people in entertainment, be they actors, writers etc. But when you run into someone in the entertainment world that has a little background in business or economics or worked in non-entertainment settings for years - you get a fuller, more experienced person who can engage on multiple levels.
that's all!
Congratulations @Frenchi. Your question was chosen tonight’s Ask Greg and the Panelists
@Frenchi If you could change something about yourself, what would it be and why?
Congratulations to @LeoLeeC and @steve-allen. Your questions were chosen for tonight’s Ask Greg.
@LeoLeeC What would cause you to change to a different restaurant table or airline seat?
@steve-allen Have you ever took blame for something you didn't do just to get it over with?
@GregGutfeld Happy 61st, old man — Farrell's couldn’t handle us now. The Zoo would be just one scoop… and three Tums.
