i decided to walk home from the office -- which is midtown. and i live downtown, so its an hour. i wanted to see how much the city has changed. and if you subtract the masks, it would feel about the same.....until..until...the madmen. every two blocks there's some crazed lost individual -- a man accosting a waiter trying to wait tables outside; a weeping homeless lady just sitting in a sidewalk. you gotta keep your eyes open for everything thats around you. i hope this gets better soon
